Dakota Hotels are seeking both a strategic and creatively driven individual for the role of Group Marketing Manager to be based in Leeds or Manchester.
Dakota is a growing UK lifestyle brand, known for our stylish, boutique hotels, bustling restaurant grills and upscale cocktail bars. Having expanded rapidly over the previous years with even more hotels in the pipeline we are looking for an ambitious marketer to help us achieve our goals and build our reputation going forward in an increasingly competitive market. This is a new and pivotal role within the organisation and one that the right person can truly make their own.
Contract and Reward
The role carries a permanent contract for 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, with a gross annual salary of up to £40,000pa.

-Create and maintain relevant customer personas

-Help develop and implement the overall brand strategy.Develop and implement a multi-faceted brand marketing strategy for our luxury hotels as well as our cocktail Bars and brasserie Grills. Work with the ethos that our food and beverage offering is the heart and soul of our brand and has a unique identity.
-Develop and execute tactical marketing activity
-Build and evolve digital presence including setting our social media strategy and be the line manager for our social media team.
-Monitor, review and report on all activity and assess return on investment
-Help determine and manage the marketing budget
-Liaise and build relationships with external media organisations and agencies
-Collaborate effectively with internal sales functions
The successful applicant must demonstrate:
-a real passion for marketing
-vision for how our brand should look going forward
-an appetite to think 'outside the box' - not afraid to try new ideas and methods
-comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing including operating Google AdWords, managing SEO rankings, and driving our social media strategy
-experience in managing fully integrated campaigns
-great communicator and people person
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The successful applicant will have/be:
-Business or marketing related degree or qualification
-5+years in progressive B2C environment
-An outgoing personality with real creative vision to drive engagement with the target market of our luxurious brand in an edgy way
-At least 4 years working experience in a marketing position including social media experience
-Successful candidates must demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for the role as well as their ability to show a long-term commitment to the brand as a real team player
