Group Financial Controller

A fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and growing company based in Croydon. As a Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing a small team and will work closely with the CFO and provide detailed financial analysis in order for them to plan for organic growth. This is 6 month fixed term contract with the possibility of the role becoming permanent, you must be available to start immediately.

Duties will include:-

Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller Role:-

• Oversee and manage the full finance function
• Improve processes and procedures
• Summarise budget trends, analyse deficiencies and report variances
• Full monthly management accounts and presentation to the board
• Cashflow forecasting and details profit and loss analysis by contract
• Complete all month end and reconciliations
• Manage the relationships with external Audit and Tax advisors

Requirements of the Group Financial Controller Role:-

• Ideally ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
• Hands on Managerial experience
• Highly organised and driven
• Proven track record of reviewing processes and implementing and driving change
• Hands on, happy to help with month end as well as the more detailed FP&A work
• Advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional communication skills to present to the Board
