Reqiva are on the lookout for a Group Engineering Manager to work for a highly established Embedded Systems manufacturer who have multiple UK and Global offices. The ideal candidate will have experienced of managing teams within a small to medium sized company.
Our client is working on many active projects and therefore the successful Engineering Manager needs to be experienced in this type of diverse environment.
As Group Engineering Manager you would be responsible for the entire product lifecycle. This will include:
*Coordination of project development activities in collaboration with all global teams (UK, India)
*Liaison with non engineering resource teams such as sales, marketing, purchasing and manufacturing throughout the product lifecycle.
*Responsibility for tracking and progress chasing to ensure timely completion of projects. This includes budget tracking to ensure projects are completed within budget.
This role will report to the Engineering Director who is based in Essex but the successful Engineering Manager needs to be able to commute between UK sites in Essex and Berkshire as and when needed.
Qualifications Required for the role of Group Engineering Manager include:
Candidates must be Engineering Graduates, with a proven background within Microprocessor-based electronic product development, preferably in a multi-discipline environment. This role will require an Engineering Manager who has experience of managing projects and teams within the below disciplines
*High speed digital electronic design.
*Embedded software development for Windows, Linux or real-time operating systems.
*Board based electronics
*Mechanical design for electronic products
