Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage and direct the Credit Control Staff in order to maximise their performance, seeking to exploit cross-company synergies where possible
- Providing all stakeholders with advice on credit policies as requested
- Managing the process to ensure credit limits signed of per the Credit Policy and contact all new customers to review payment terms with their purchase ledger dept, targeting customers to move to direct debit to reduce debtor days and help aid cashflow
- Setting and monitoring credit limits for both insured and uninsured customers, ensuring financial data is up to date for insurance and uninsured risk purposes
