This is the ideal role for an experienced Compliance Manager from a financial services or Motor Retail background looking to play an important role within a leading Motor Dealer Group based in Merseyside

Your duties as their Group Compliance Manager will include:-
Compliance - You will be responsible for providing accurate compliance advice and ensuring that all company processes and procedures are compliant with policies, legislation and guidelines. You will review policies, procedures, advertising and marketing across their branches to ensure that they are compliant and a customer focus is maintained. You’ll liaise with operational areas of the business to make sure that appropriate training is provided to employees and prepare detailed reports regarding skills gaps and employee needs.
Ensuring that internal processes and procedures are fit for purpose, you’ll highlight any specific issues and make recommendations for improvements. Additionally, you’ll guarantee that the business maintains both quality and integrity in its business systems by conducting regular audits
Data Protection – implementing, maintaining and monitoring policies and overseeing training where applicable. Ensuring compliance with new GDPR regulations.
Customer Complaints - You will oversee the Customer complaints process monitoring and assisting the Managers in the timely and successful closing of customer complaints. Ensuring that all complaints are documented, dealt with by the Managers in the appropriate manner and timescale. You will report regularly to the Directors on any issues and outcomes
To be considered for the Group Compliance Manager role, you must have:-
- Experience of working as a compliance manager within a financial services environment or with a FCA /Trading Standards background
- In-depth knowledge of the TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principle and experience gained in an environment where TCF has been successfully applied
- Extensive knowledge of FCA rules and regulations as appropriate to our industry
- Extensive knowledge of Data Protection & the new GDPR rules and regulations
- Experience with Customer Complaints process
Influential and analytical, as the Group Compliance Manager, you must have strong leadership, communication and decision making skills with excellent attention to detail and a results-focused approach.
