I am recruiting a Group Buyer role with an industry-leading, forward-thinking and progressive organisation within the FMCG (food manufacturing) industry. The successful candidate will have proven success within developing a category around a strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Buyer to work for a global, market-leading food manufacturing organisation with fantastic opportunities for progression and development.
These roles form part of a newly established and centralised UK wide spend and procurement strategy and require each Group Buyer to look after a specific area across ingredients, packaging and indirects - avg. £35mil+ spend.
These roles require extensive travel across all UK sites and to visit both UK and global suppliers. You will be typically be required at their HQ in Derbyshire c.1 day per week.
You will have proven experience in developing a strategy around a category, cost savings and exceptional internal and external stakeholder management. You will have strong experience within SRM across global suppliers, in ensuring that the entire UK business is supported and processes are followed to maximise efficiencies and effectiveness of a central sourcing function.
You must be educated to degree level and be proficient in Excel.
