The Big Picture
The Simplify Group is one of the largest providers of conveyancing services in the UK. Most of our customers are referred to us by partner estate agents who recognise and value our world-class expertise in the sector. We are a private-equity owned business which is fast growing and with even bigger ambitions. As part of our growth, we intend to work with hundreds more estate agents in the coming years and we are putting in place business development plans to identify, contact and win these vital new relationships.
We're seeking a talented Business Development Analyst to partner the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will inherit a newly formed sales strategy, and assist the CEO, Chief Financial Officer and two Managing Directors to drive the associated operational changes to maximise the benefits from planning business development and account management across the Group in order to recruit and delights new estate agent partners.
You will be responsible for analysing market opportunities and business development data, identifying trends and patterns, communicating these clearly, and through proven and effective relationship building, influence and persuade innovative ways of working to improve our overall business development pipeline and conversions.
Working closely with our business development leaders, you'll collate data around our business development conversion rates and create a structured platform from which our business developers can continually improve their success rates and strategically push our business forwards. Our business is experiencing an exciting period of growth and this role will play a vital role in assisting the Senior Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate
- Proven analysis experienced- ideally in a B2B business development / sales context
- Skilled at partnering multi levels and working within a matrix environment, preferably within a Group, and an SME, not essential.
- Demonstrable and successful business transformation expertise.
- Highly numerate, analytical, and a structured approach- a completer finisher.
- Excellent influencing and communication skills
Who We Are
The Simplify Group was formed in Sep 2014 following the acquisition by Palamon Capital Partners. It is a property legal services group, and consists of three main divisions operating in the property sector: Panel Management Conveyancing (MWU brand), Conveyancing Service Delivery (DC Law and JS Law brands) and Property Sales (MWU brand). These divisions have offices in St Ives, Southport and Market Harborough.
