Groomfield Recruitment are happy to represent our Client, a hugely successful fully certified BACS Bureau seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join their expert team.

This role would be perfect for someone looking to transfer their skill set/experience from a Practice to a Working office environment.


Overall control of the financial affairs of the group and all its subsidiary Companies, including but not limited to;

  1. Preparation of the Management accounts for all PAYAX companies’ management and Statutory Accounts.

  2. Preparation of the Management accounts and where appropriate statutory accounts for all client companies.

  3. All matters of Taxation for both PAYAX and Client companies.

  4. Control of the Accounts department including cover for staff absent on maternity leave.

  5. Control of the Credit Control Department.

  6. Provision and monitoring of the companies forecasts and budgets

  7. Provision of timely management information for the Directors of the PAYAX companies.

  8. Liaison with clients regarding financial information.

  9. Liaison with banks regarding the financial information relative to both PAYAX and client companies.

  10. Attendance at monthly and ad hoc Director’s board meetings

  11. Attendance at client meetings both at the company premises and the client’s premises.

  12. Other such financial and personnel management functions as the Directors from time to time require.
