Grounds Maintenance Operative

Your new company
You will be working for a large grounds maintenance company with a depot near Ibstock. Due to additional contracts they are looking for several grounds maintenance operatives to start in February.

Your new role
You will report to the yard in the morning, pick up your work schedule and then head out in a company vehicle. At the end of the day you will return the vehicle to the yard and take your vehicle homes. You will be responsible for all forms of grounds maintenance from hard/soft landscaping, mowing, strimming, bedding etc. You will be working on communal and private gardens.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have a full driving licence and experience working within the grounds maintenance sector. Horticulture/arboriculture qualifications, spraying tickets and any tickets for equipment are desirable but not essential. BE/C1 trailer licence is highly desirable.

What you'll get in return
You will be working 42 hours per week Mon-Fri and received approximately £9.50 p/h. The contract is ongoing over the summer season with a good possibility of permanent work for suitable candidates.
