Job Title: Grass Surface Management Contractor

Perfect Ground Solutions carries out a range of services including domestic and commercial lawn and grass care, weed control and Japanese Knotweed Control based in and around Hertfordshire, Essex and Bedfordshire. We also carryout significant construction projects on larger grass areas which often involves the use of heavy plant machinery.

We are in a position to offer a full time position working from Ware. The role will involve all aspects of fertiliser and pesticide application to domestic lawns and commercial areas and would suit someone with previous experience and knowledge in turf care or the horticultural industry. The successful candidate will be comfortable with driving a van towing a trailer (training will be provided), operating mechanised equipment and possibly plant machinery. The role is customer facing so you will need to be well presented and comfortable in conversation with clients. Spraying qualifications (PA1, PA2 and PA6) are preferred but are not essential as intensive training will be provided. Salary will be dependant on experience.

To be the successful applicant, you will have a full driving license and be able to:

• Work as part of a team or independently
• Demonstrate and interest and knowledge in the industry
• Discuss issues and advise customers with confidence
• Complete paper work diligently
• Work flexible hours when the weather/ season dictates
• Lift 25 kgs and be able to operate petrol engine operated equipment

Location: Hertfordshire Area
Salary: Depending on experience
