About the Role:
They are looking for a talented design professional to help in delivering and maintaining the visual and design aspects of our client.
As part of their Marketing and Communications team, you will play an integral part in shaping the creative output of the Society, and the ways in which they communicate with their members.
You will work closely with their external designer, assisting in the management and maintenance of their visual brand and corporate identity. This will include amending and developing pre-prepared designs and templates.
You will also assist in editing and producing hard-copy and online marketing material for their VDS brands, including brochures, social media assets, web design and email campaigns, posters, flyers, booklets, press ads and event graphics.
You will be adept at using Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator – as well as other creative and office software, on Mac and/or PC platforms.
You will have the ability to work well within a team and with others at all levels of the Society. You should be able to demonstrate that you are structured and organised in your approach to planning work, to ensure timely development and delivery of assets as part of their overall yearly marketing campaigns.
You will maintain positive working relationships with external suppliers, such as print companies and event organisers. You should also be interested in keeping up-to-date with emerging design trends. There may also be some administrative duties alongside your normal tasks.
The successful individual will have experience in a related field, and a strong understanding of the importance of applying brand guidelines across company-wide documentation and designs.
This is an in-house role, based at their offices in Knutsford, Cheshire. Access to a car would be an advantage – free parking is provided – although the office can also be reached by public transport.
