Main purpose of the role: This two year graduate scheme will offer two 12-month rotations within both operational and commercial areas of the business. Trainees will take a 'bottom up’ approach to learning about the business and will gain real insight into a range of business functions, including: transporting bulk chemicals, freight, planning, customer service and supply chain. As part of this, you will spend time working within several different departments to find out how the organisation’s national and international divisions function. Each department offers you real responsibility from day one to further your development. You could be involved in the following areas:
- Customer service
- Business development and tendering Duties and responsibilities will also include:
- Planning routes; assigning drivers and trucks to products and customers
- Meeting customers face-to-face
- People management
- Learning and development
The individual: Academically, we are looking for CCC (or higher) at A-level, and a 2:1 degree (or higher) from any relevant degree background. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also be:

- Able to question effectively
