Currently Leeds City Council are recruiting for 2 GRADUATE Development Management Officers to work within their planning department. – Long term assignment PAYE £13.45 to UMBRELLA rate Circa £16.56
As a Development Management Officer you are working within Development Management, to deal with a range of planning proposals/applications to consistently high standards within a specific area team aligned to a Planning Panel to a professional level. Will be expected to meet performance targets within a culture of proactive Development Management, engaging with prospective applicants and agents, ward members and members of the public in constructive pre-application discussions
Managing case loads validating planning applications, site visits, dealing with appeals, producing appeal documents, pre application advice.
Skills & experience:
Experience of working as a case officer within Development Management
• Educated to degree level in Planning or a closely related discipline
Working Hours will be between Mondays - Friday between 8am - 6pm, in return for your skills and commitment you will receive market leading training, a competitive rate of PAYE £13.45 to UMBRELLA rate Circa £16.56. A generous holiday entitlement of 28 days per year (including bank holidays), travel benefit and company healthcare scheme.
