PRODUCTS: Cellular Pathology consumables and laboratory equipment
TERRITORY: South-East UK
CUSTOMERS: Hospital and Academic Laboratories.
This is a field-based role with around 80% travel to customer sites and around one day per week working from home.
Implement the sales strategy for the South-East UK territory
Maintain and developing existing accounts + business with a focus on targeting new accounts.
Achieve annual sales target.
Ensure sales visits are carried out professionally and provide detailed sales reports.
Gather market intelligence information relating to customers/clients, competitors and additional market information that will be beneficial to know.
Provide sales territory updates at the monthly sales meeting (including exhibition feedback on sales leads)
Attendance at industry networking events, exhibitions and trade shows.
Managing tenders and following up within agreed timescales after closing date.
Degree in Biomedical Sciences or related discipline Experience working in a customer-facing role is essential - this could be telesales, face-to-face sales or retail sales with proven experience of working to targets
Excellent communication skills, motivation to succeed
Experience selling in the healthcare, diagnostics or life science market is preferable but not essential as full training is provided. Great opportunity for a graduate wanting to move into scientific sales or medical sales.
