This business is working at the heart of 'mobile’ and 'analytics’, two of the two most compelling areas in IT today - they are an early stage company poised for spectacular growth with the backing of both institutional and industry investors, and are looking to become the leaders in the area of actionable analytics.

They are experts at helping companies monitor their enterprise mobile devices, spotting issues before they have an impact and highlighting ways to make improvements that will increase the return on investment.

In this role, you will be helping with supporting the customers with post-sales delivery and support; the customers could be a mobile phone manufacturer, or a big businesses that has many staff members who use the devices. You will be using your technical knowledge to help them with problems. If the query is more in-depth, you will have an internal development team to help you.

It’s not just about problem solving though, you will also be assisting partners to install configure and support systems, including large multi-national roll-outs with many thousands of mobile users. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of new systems and processes that enable more efficient working practices. You will also be helping to train the users.

You will be continually learning and developing new skills, for example in the following areas (though if you are already familiar with any of them that would be ideal):

PC Operating Systems & Configuration; Windows Server Operating Systems & Configuration; IP Networking Technologies & Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Domains); Internet Networking (IIS, Routers, Switches & Firewalls); Wireless Networking (WLAN / Mobile Data);Microsoft SQL Server; Amazon Web Services; Mobile Devices (Android, IOS, Win x86, Windows Mobile/CE) ; Analytics; Data Warehousing.

There is a focus on ongoing learning and development, and you will even have your own self-managed learning budget.

The team is located in a converted farm building in the middle of an Orchard to the south of Oxford. The location is idyllic and it is not unknown for meetings to be held in hammocks or round a barbecue.

It is possible to commute from Oxford, Reading and Swindon - if using public transport, Didcot is the nearest station, a couple of the team cycle off road from there, or there is a bus for the less adventurous (though there is still a bit of a walk after).
