The Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant

In this Graduate Teaching Assistant post you will be working with a strong Year 6 class. As a Year 6 Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be joined together with a Class Teacher who will act as your mentor whilst you are at the school. As the Year 6 Teaching Assistant you will be expected to pre-lesson preparation and your ideas will be vital for the development of new lessons plans and work schemes. Your previous experience will help you effectively lead small intervention sessions for pupils who struggle with certain elements of the curriculum. It is essential that you have a degree in Maths, English or Science. The children have SATs approaching this is a critical time for the school.
