Would you like to be paid to support and engage students in Primary Education?
If so, then this opportunity is right for you!
I'm working with an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Primary school in Hillingdon who are looking for a Drama/Arts Graduate to start as soon as possible, and work until the end of the academic year.
The school is set in extensive grounds and easily accessible via tube, bus and car. It has been graded 'outstanding in all areas' in the last two inspections; the SATs achievement of Year 6 has been high year on year. The school has pupils with special needs and a high number of students with English as a second language. They have a well-resourced Nursery. The behaviour policy is well established and the school have very few disciplinary issues.
As the Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will become an integral part of the Learning Support team and learn how plan, prepare and deliver intervention sessions. You will learn behaviour management techniques and how to differentiate your lessons.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to teach your specialist area of Drama/Preforming Arts whilst covering teacher planning time.
The School are looking for someone confident, with fresh ideas on teaching performing arts and someone who can pass on their passion and enjoyment of the arts to the pupils. This role is 5 days per week, school days, so you would typically be working 8.15am - 4.00pm. The team is young, sociable and supportive.
This really is the perfect place for an ambitious young person to pass on their skills to the next generation of performers!
