Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant - Psychology

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £50 - £65 (dependent on experience)

Are you a creative graduate in Psychology who has a passion for working with young people? Do you have a keen interest in developing your SEN understanding?

Are you looking to gain experience in working with young people with social and mental health difficulties?

About the Role:

*Full time, ASAP start.
*You will be required to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties, including pupils who may sometimes be challenging on a physical level.
*Long term contract with the potential to go permanent.

About you:

*Excellent behavior management skills.
*Punctual and reliable.
*Calm and resilient approach.
*A passion for helping young people progress and develop.
*Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behavior and social, emotional and mental health difficulties is desirable.

About the school:

*Special state school that caters for students with Social, Emotional and Mental health difficulties.
*You will be joining a supportive and enthusiastic team that is dedicated to creating a stimulating environment and encourages everyone to reach the best of their ability.
*Based in Central/South Manchester with excellent transport links.

*Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/Police checks.
