Graduate TA's required for Numeracy Support
CER are currently recruiting for a graduate teaching assistant or a learning support assistant with a background in Maths to help raise attainment in a SEN school in Numeracy. We require someone who is qualified to at least an A grade - A Level or equivalent qualification to deliver intervention support in the run up to exams and assessments to a mixed SEN school for pupils with SEMH and Autism. The intervention will be delivered on a one to one or small group basis. Some students may require additional support in the classroom also and work to lower levels such as basic functional skills. Pupils will be aged between 11-16 years, many disengaged from education and learning therefore the ability to direct pupils in a positive way is desirable.
This is a great opportunity for a budding graduate or a candidate with limited education knowledge wishing to gain classroom and SEN based experience. CER offer a range of support including CPD & ongoing training.
