£23,000 - £27,000 + Benefits + Support to Chartership

An opportunity is immediately available for an ambitious and driven Graduate Structural Engineer to become a highly valued part of a close knit, independent engineering consultancy in Devon. Our client delivers a high quality service on small scale projects delivered across the residential and commercial sector and are looking to welcome the successful applicant to aid the delivery of these projects from inception to completion. Our client is looking to off a salary of between £23,000 and £27,000 for this position, in addition to offering a wide range of exciting benefits and full support to the completion of chartership.

In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:

  • Possess at least 12 months experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
  • Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
  • Possess a proficient understanding of AutoCAD
  • Possess experience of working with British Standards
  • Possess good communication skills

Key responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineer role include:

  • Work directly alongside highly experienced and chartered engineers
  • Work on projects from inception to completion
  • Attend site projects and design meetings
  • Write detailed reports and carry out structural surveys
  • Carry out structural design and analysis on a range of projects
  • Liaise closely with a wide range of valued clients
