Graduate Structural Engineer (Buildings)

Expanding independent Civil & Structural Consulting Engineers undertaking projects across the UK from their Oxfordshire offices seek to grow their team by the appointment of a Graduate Structural Engineer


Joining a highly professional and established team, you will be given first class structured training & development including internal & external training courses, mentoring & extensive involvement in live projects for:

  • Full concept & detail design for Steel, RC, Timber & Masonry structures
  • Preparation of structural calculations
  • Production of architectural & structural drawings
  • Inspection & reporting on site visits
  • Use of Revit, AutoCAD & BIM
  • Contributing to design & project team meetings
  • Working to Eurocodes, British Standards etc

Job Requirements:

  • BEng + MSc/ MEng Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
  • Ideally previous exposure to structural design for buildings gained on a placement or similar work experience
  • Able to demonstrate a strong desire to follow a long-term career within the industry
  • Numerate, analytical & organised
