Purpose of the role…

  • The core objective of the role is to reach out to past attendees and follow up on the enquiries to research what they are interested in with the aim of matching these with the product offering and selling delegate passes for a range of events within the B2B environment, predominantly in Finance industry. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and confident in speaking with senior clients to maintain existing account relationships as well as attracting new business.


  • Making outbound telephone calls to clients who previously attended or enquired about the event/media or have been identified as delegate targets.
  • Managing the whole sales cycle from initial contact and pitch to closing the deal
  • Reporting back on progress to the Head of Delegate Sales and the wider management team in team and project meetings
  • Providing clients' feedback, identifying opportunities, capturing and working with objections
  • Managing lead admin as the pipeline progresses
  • Delivering and exceeding revenue and KPI targets
  • Manage, build and maintain the company database through updating records and recording
  • Completing the relevant booking process within 24 working hours of the sale confirmation
  • Clear and professional communication both internally and externally

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
