Graduate Sales Engineer / Trainee Sales Engineer / Graduate Applications Engineer required to join a manufacturer based in Coventry. The Graduate Sales Engineer will be office based and be responsible for liaising with customers to solve their fluid power and hydraulic queries. You'll provide technical support, costings, technical quotations, application support and contract management.
The successful candidate will be Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, and manufacturing engineering or similar.

Trainee technical sales position supporting customers - Understand the technical requirements and work with customers towards a suitable solution
Learn to design hydraulic circuits
Select suitable components and compile accurate costings for projects
Prepare tender documentation including technical documents
Prepare detailed parts list and quotations
Contract manage the project with the client at all stages from design through to commissioning
Liaise with existing and new clients from shop floor personnel to Director level
Liaise with various engineering department including, design, manufacturing, etc
Support service contracts and service engineers
Hands on with testing and commissioning when required
Office based in Coventry
Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, and manufacturing engineering or similar
This would suit an engineering Graduate looking for an applications or technical sales role
Some industry experience or hydraulic knowledge would be advantageous
Good communication skills
Commutable to Coventry
