Role: Graduate Sales Assistant / Enrolment advisor

Contract: full time (6 month contract with the view of going permanent)

Location: London

Salary: £20k - £22K

Hours: 9am-5pm or 10.30pm-6.30pm

Start date: immediate

C4S Search’s client is a leading international provider of online courses and programmes. Due to continued success they are looking to grow their sales / enrolment team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, confident and self-motivated individual with strong communication skills.

As a Sales Assistant/Enrolment Advisor you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, by conducting high-level informative conversations with leads and potential applicants of their training courses.

You must be a quick learner who is a motivated, goal-driven individual with strong people skills. We are looking for a versatile individual who is comfortable in engaging with people from different backgrounds and for whom English may not be their first language. This role therefore requires a very high level of written and verbal communication skills.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Track, monitor and update database systems
  • Monitor and update existing lead generation systems
  • Use our database to contact existing leads (via e-mail and telephone). You will be expected to follow up with existing leads on a daily bases. You will need to answer any questions they might have and gradually encourage them to apply for our online training courses
  • Target individuals and institutions by making multiple prospecting calls daily
  • Mail merge email activity that will be sent to prospective applicants/institutions
  • Profile prospects to develop an understanding of their decision timeline and process
  • Positively position our online training programmes highlighting our USPs in relation the prospect's needs
  • Effectively deliver leads and convert them in to quality applications

Qualifications/Skills:

To be successful in this position you will need to have/be:

  • Graduate level education
  • Willing to use their initiative and make strategic suggestions for improvements
  • A strong person who is approachable and friendly
  • An energetic, conscientious, and enthusiastic person with good problem solving skills
  • A strong aptitude for understanding issues and solutions
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about helping potential applicants make the best possible decision for them
  • Proven experience with telesales
  • Proven ability to use CRM tools and excel spread sheets for tracking and managing the lead generation and follow up process
  • A proven track record of achieving targets and a team-player mentality
  • Independent, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent computer skills including a good understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • At least 6 months experience in a similar customer / sales focused role
  • Experience in the education industry or a good understanding of the education market
