£18k - £20k basic, OTE £35K year 1

With offices in Manchester, London, Reading, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, established and San Francisco opening this year, my client is a global search & strategic recruitment consultancy firm specialising in providing expert technology professionals across multiple sectors for a number of leading organisations.
Due to their remarkable growth, my client is looking to bring 10 motivated graduate recruitment consultants onto their exhilarating recruitment training academy.

Trainee Recruitment Consultant: The Role Requirements
A day in recruitment consultancy is long and hectic but ultimately you get out what you put in - you’re in charge of your own earnings. When you start out on the recruitment academy you will be following a sales plan which will teach you the skills you need to become a successful recruitment consultant. As you progress through, you will take on more of the responsibilities of a consultant as you work your way out of the training programme and become a full 360 recruitment consultant.
A typical day will be split between a variety of different activities such as -
- Cold calls to potential new clients trying to win new business.
- Lead generation - obtaining industry information from clients and candidates.
- Pre-screening candidates through face to face or telephone interviews.
- Headhunting new candidates.
- Advertising for new candidates through various methods.
- Organising interviews and guiding candidates through the entire interview process.
- Closing offers.
- Objection handling by candidates and clients.
The Ideal Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Ambitious, driven, money-motivated, hard-working - recruitment is not 9-5.
- Sales/telesales experience preferred but not essential - you will be on the phone a lot.
- Candidates ideally have 2:1 degree - 2:2 will be considered.
