Graduate Mental Health Coach

Graduate looking to specialise in mental health?  But you want lots of training?  How about working for one of the leading mental health charities in the UK? 

 You will support people who are struggling in the work place, or have had to give up work due to their mental health.  Sound rewarding?  You will be joining a charity that looks after their staff, being an Investor in People, 25 days plus bank hols and lots of development opportunities.

You will have flexibility in your day, based around your clients.  Some clients you will meet in coffee shops, others in local libraries, and some in your office.  Its proper grass roots and working out in the community.  You will provide support covering a range of areas, such as helping someone to write a grievance letter to their HR.  Attending disciplinary meetings.  Assisting with job search, applications, cover letters and interview prep.  Or signposting to other services.

To apply, you must have some practical experience of working with people with mental health support needs (voluntary is fine).  Graduates with a degree in a related field such as  psychology, criminology or sociology would fit.  As well as people who might have worked as a Key Worker, Support Worker or Employment Advisor.
