Graduate Mechanical Engineer Job in Ringwood

Our client is a thriving design and engineering firm who are searching for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This position will be working with a great range of commercial clients and will offer fantastic training and development opportunities. The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will be working closely with the firm's project managers and mechanical engineers and will be trained in all areas of the business, including how to comprehensively use AutoCAD and complete estimating and project tasks. After completing this 2-year training programme you’ll be allowed to specialise in an area that you have developed a particular interest in.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Mechanical Design Engineer with a range of projects
• Train to use CAD software and estimating software, ensign.
• Learn how to do estimations and quotes for client projects
• Assist with managing projects for clients in various sectors including healthcare, retail, and commercial
• Attend client visits around the country

Minimum Skills Required for the Graduate Mechanical Engineer:

• Relevant degree (I.e., BTEC engineering or BSc Mechanical Engineering)
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications)
• Proactive and keen to get stuck in

Salary and Benefits:

• A salary of £20,000 - 25,000 PA dependent on experience
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays - increasing with length of service
• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
