Our client is a privately owned and completely independent high net worth mortgage brokerage with offices in Central & North London.

They specialise in arranging large mortgage loans for individuals from both the UK and overseas who are either purchasing or refinancing residential or commercial property.

This is a 2-3 month paid internship offering a pro rata salary of £20K. Followed by the potential of a permanent role.

How you can expect to spend your day:


A fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate passionate about social media to start their career in one of the most successful and innovative marketing departments in the country.

From day one you will be an important member of the marketing team. Working with the Digital Marketing Manager you will focus on developing the social media side of the business including social media planning; YouTube posting; campaign planning; and video recordings. As you learn and progress within the role we will gradually give you more responsibility so that you will be able to carry out the following tasks with ease:

Email Marketing
  • The management of email marketing campaign delivery, promoting company services, brands & content to help drive customer acquisitions and retention
  • Project management of multiple email marketing campaigns, across multiple brands
  • Segment lists based on behaviours including past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc)
  • Manage key conversion points in the email marketing funnel, including landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing re-marketing strategies
  • Reduce list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of email database
  • Report performance of all email marketing campaigns, assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring all email marketing campaigns comply with current email best practice
Social Media
  • Responsible for the management of company social media channels, including LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and other relevant platforms
  • Adhere to social media strategy that builds meaningful connections with targeted audiences
  • Content creation that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence and encourages audience participation
  • Maintain social content schedule to plan new content alongside content team to help drive audience interaction while analysing, managing and altering schedules where necessary to optimise engagement
  • Work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager to develop larger social media campaigns, integrating across Social, Email & Remarketing channels
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Continued analysis of social media data insights to help increase audience engagement
Video Content
  • Managing all aspects of the multimedia content development process from initial conception & design through project completion:
  • Engage all Stakeholders to establish goals and objectives
  • Responsible for all Storyboarding & design
  • Videos will include, screen capture, voiceover, stop motion and animation
  • Developing multimedia content that promotes value realisation
  • Demonstrate effectiveness of multimedia content by reporting regularly on progress made toward adoption goals
  • Manage several projects simultaneously and hit all associated deadlines
  • Create video material that concisely communicate a service value proposition, and effectively communicates the company brand USPs
  • Promote on all social and marketing channels in effective campaigns
The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:
  • University Graduate with a minimum 2:1
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Computer literate
  • Able to prioritise own workload
  • Confident, well spoken, articulate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
