About our Client
Our client is a first-year counselling and psychology student studying her degree at Keele University. She has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and a visual impairment. With a big interest in sport, our client enjoys to play Boccia and participates in all sorts of sporting events. The client also enjoys watching television box sets, such as game of thrones and soaps.
Our client has a wonderful persona that is kind and caring in nature. Other interests include listening to pop music and watching adventure films as well as musicals. Our client likes animals and has a pet dog.

You will provide our client's academic support and health and social care. This is also a "flat mate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a first-year university student to be doing, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, the cinema, going on holiday and much more!
Weekly live-in rota: 7 days on and 7 days off or similar arrangement.
Live-in PA's use the flexible working arrangements that come with the week on/week off set up, to travel abroad or visit friends throughout the year. The combination of this, with the knowledge that they are having a positive, daily impact on someone's life, and the relaxed, inclusive working environment makes this a unique and exciting opportunity.
Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
Free accommodation in halls is provided when you are on shift.
You must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you will be driving our client's adapted car.
Start Date: November 2019.
Pay & Benefits
Live-in £110 per day // £770 per week worked.
Free accommodation when on shift.
5.6 week's holiday pro rata.
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided.
You will need: -
·To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
·Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
·To have a good sense of humour
·A mature and responsible attitude
·Good communication skills
·To be fluent in English.
·To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
·To be a non-smoker
·A full clean UK driving licence
·To like dogs.
