You will be working out of HMP Send, and will be working with a caseload of prisoners who are 6 – 12 months away from release. Day to day, you will work with your caseload of clients, identifying their needs and sign posting them into other services / support providers either within the prison, or in preparation for release. You will deliver pre-prepared group sessions covering a range of areas such as family re-integration, money management or employability. A big focus of your role with be to prepare your clients for employment. So this will include helping them create a CV, search for jobs, prepare for interviews and write cover letters.
