Graduate / Junior Java Developer - Train in Salesforce APEX
Graduates and people with around 1-2 years Java Development experience - fancy working for a Salesforce Consultancy & getting trained up & certified in Salesforce? Our client has a track record of hiring Junior Java Developers with strong analysis skills, training them up with Salesforce APEX (syntax is just like Java) and using them in customer facing positions to take client requests and ultimately help customise Salesforce implementations and integrate plugins & applications with Salesforce.
Working in the heart of the vibrant East London tech scene, our client have grown to become an award winning Salesforce partner. They've delivered strong growth over the last 3 years and very much promote the idea of organically growing their Salesforce Technical Consultants, hiring graduates & junior developers & paying to put them through Salesforce certifications. They typically deliver standard and custom solutions on the Salesforce platform. This involves their teams working directly with customers to discuss their business challenges and goals, and then mapping these to how Salesforce can help them achieve this.
While they want people with a Java development background this is not a pure development role, this is very much a Consultant role, and solutions will be delivered using both declarative and programmatic solutions (so clicks-not-code and code).
The following are the key skills needed:
- Solid Java, or ideally full stack development skills (1 year out of school would be good, but also ok if they are fresh)
- Must be able to be client facing, as in presentable to customers in meetings
- Excellent business analysis and problem-solving skills; taking customer problems and translating these into solutions.
- Excellent written and communication skills - you need to be able to clearly articulate problems and solutions back to the customer
