Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Engineer (Projects)
- £32k - £37k, 8% bonus, 28 days holiday, 7.5% pension, private health, life assurance & training / development
- Clear plan to get to £40k basic in 3 years
There are literally 100s of junior & graduate design roles in around, so what makes this different? Well, this is working for one of the world leading organisations in their field, an organisation that has been ranked in the top 25 in the UK to work in! A multi billion pound organisation who invest heavily in to your training and development, so your skill set would continually improve.
As opposed to getting a candidate that can "hit the ground running", they would rather take time to bring in a person who wants to learn, develop and forge a career and have an exceptional track record in doing so. Also, a clear plan on your salary too which sees it go up to £40k in 3 years (at least!).
We are open to the person who comes in to this role… We are open to a strong graduate or junior electrical professional who has good design experience but would like their role to be more than just "design" and be involved in multi million pound projects. We use AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN so experience of either would be great.
It is a role for someone who is looking for a company where progression is seen as a company value and is maybe not getting that where they are. For someone who is talented, ambitious wanting to work in a challenging but hugely rewarding environment. We would look at a more experienced option as well.
The Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Engineer will essentially be the design and technical support for the internal projects team in a large manufacturing facility as well as the end customer. Essentially, we manufacture a range of different products and supply them in to (predominantly) other world leading, blue chip organisations. You will design the modifications to their products and communicate along the way, explaining your work. So a hugely exiting role where you will be wearing many different hats - not just "design".
- Preparation of schematic drawings
- Assess technical aspects of orders and advising colleagues of anomalies and long lead time
- Assist in answering engineering queries from clients
- Check & approve drawing submissions
As already alluded to, this is a worldwide leading company who have a turnover in their billions. But a company who are hugely forward thinking and have a track record of training and developing their staff, offering long term careers where progression across the different parts of the business are always offered.
If this seems like an opportunity that appeals, send your CV through and I will be more than happy to go through this in more detail. Look forward to hearing your story…
