Our client, a rapidly expanding and highly entrepreneurial investment business, requires a highly dynamic and commercially graduate to join the investment team that is responsible for portfolio pricing and modelling, structuring and closing of transactions.
You will play a key role within the CFO's team, supporting the pricing team and Chief Investment Office across two key geographical markets. Key responsibilities will include the production of business cases to support investments through the application of statistical forecasting models, undertaking bespoke analysis to resolve highly technical financial problems, producing investment memorandums for consideration by the investment committee, post-acquisition, early review and analysis of actual performance vs forecast and performing on-site due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
Applicants must have graduated in a Quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Econometrics) have experience in data manipulation and analysis and as such possess excellent Excel ability. Prior work experience in an analytical role would obviously help but is not an pre-requisite given the entry level nature of the role. Existing SQL or other programming skills (e.g R, Python, C++) are seen as beneficial but are not an absolute necessity as on the job training will be provided.
This represent a highly sought after role offering an individual the opportunity to play a significant part in high profile investment decisions. A highly competitive salary and benefits package is available to the right individual.
