Our client is a General Construction Contractor, who works regionally on various projects including design and build, new build, conservation and repairs and maintenance.
Due to business needs they are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Project Manager to work in a varied role and learn the full process of Construction Management; working with them on a permanent basis
You will be office based with ad hoc visits to site to learn all about the construction process and the company; and building on Construction Management skills.
Reporting to the Director, you will work closely with the office team and have the following roles and responsibilities:
Produce accurate information for Contribution Forecasts and Monthly Cost/Value Reports
To efficiently report on Site Progress and ensure correct procedure are implemented for Extension of Time applications and recovery of Loss and Expense
Maximise profitability and cash benefit for the Company
Control and administer sub-Contract accounts
Liaise with Contracts Management on Cost Control and all financial matters relating to the Contract
Efficiently procure sub-contractors
Assist in management of sites
