Who are we and what do we do?

At Carnival Corporate Shipbuilding, we manage the entire cruise ship acquisitionprocess, from the initial business opportunity through the concept ship design and construction all the way to post-delivery warranty, and everything in between for Carnival Corporation, the world’s largest cruise company. Our global team is made up of specialists in naval architecture; outfitting; marine, electrical and safety engineering as well as experts in project management, sourcing and asset management who work together to ensure ships are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.

We oversee the whole Shipbuilding process for all the brands of Carnival Corporation that take their guests to some of the most amazing parts of the world with integrity and responsibility. We support P&O, Costa, Princess, Carnival Cruise Lines, AIDA, Cunard, Holland America, Seabourn and Costa Asia .

At Carnival Corporate Shipbuilding we make sure that the new ships that join the fleet are all designed and built using the highest environmental standards. We are constantly researching credible solutions for our cruise ships that will actively contribute to the global ambitions of decarbonisation.

With 21 new ships currently on order with shipyards in Finland, Germany, Italy and China we have some fantastic opportunities ahead.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for the most ambitious, talented and enthusiastic graduates who we can support and develop into future leaders of our business within Corporate Shipbuilding.

What can you expect?

You will be joining the heart of our Corporate Shipbuilding team in a graduate scheme which will give you the opportunity to experience a full range of technical and management roles over a 3 year period. You will gain experience in core areas such as Project Management, Site Inspection, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering to name a few. You will have every opportunity to have impact and to influence decision making in this unique environment.

We are offering a development graduate programme with placement's specifically designed to not only develop your technical skill but just as importantly help you establish what it takes to be a future leader.

What you need?

In addition to graduating with a 2.1 in ideally Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a similar relevant degree; you will need drive, commitment and a real passion to succeed, together with the ability to tackle complex challenges, make decisions and influence colleagues.
