Graduate Electrical Design Engineer (MEP Building Services)
Award winning, independent Mechanical, Electrical & Sustainable Building Services Consultants focused on the delivery of innovative & cost effective design solutions for their expanding client base seek to strengthen their West Midlands Office by the appointment of an ambitious Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Role:
Joining an experienced & capable team, you will be given first class structured training & development in all aspects of Electrical Building Services design & associated design project management including:
- Production of full concept & detail designs, with engineering calculations, specifications etc
- Surveys of existing installations & reporting
- Contributing to design team & site progress meetings
- Working closely with clients on a long-term, partnership basis
- On-site contractor monitoring & technical troubleshooting
- Use of systems including Revit MEP, BIM, AutoCAD, Dialux & Amtech
Job Requirements:
- Good degree in Electrical, Building Services (Electrical) Engineering or similar
- Ideally previous exposure to the industry on a placement or similar (not essential)
- Passionate about the delivery of innovative, sustainable & cost effective design solutions
- Computer literate
- Excellent communications abilities
- Can-do attitude
