Graduate Electrical Design Engineer (MEP Building Services)

Award winning, independent Mechanical, Electrical & Sustainable Building Services Consultants focused on the delivery of innovative & cost effective design solutions for their expanding client base seek to strengthen their West Midlands Office by the appointment of an ambitious Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

Role:

Joining an experienced & capable team, you will be given first class structured training & development in all aspects of Electrical Building Services design & associated design project management including:

• Production of full concept & detail designs, with engineering calculations, specifications etc
• Surveys of existing installations & reporting
• Contributing to design team & site progress meetings
• Working closely with clients on a long-term, partnership basis
• On-site contractor monitoring & technical troubleshooting
• Use of systems including Revit MEP, BIM, AutoCAD, Dialux & Amtech

Job Requirements:

• Good degree in Electrical, Building Services (Electrical) Engineering or similar
• Ideally previous exposure to the industry on a placement or similar (not essential)
• Passionate about the delivery of innovative, sustainable & cost effective design solutions
• Computer literate
• Excellent communications abilities
• Can-do attitude
