They have been selling homeware and furniture goods on our high street for the past 30 years. They truly believe in using modern technology and strive for best practice in everything that they do.
As the business believes in using the right tools for the right job, we are open to looking at experience with any language. However, to succeed in Junior Developer position you will;
Display a willingness and excitement for learning
Have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming
Display a logical approach to programming
Ideally you would have a Computer Science background or similar but we are open to anyone who can demonstrate this level of experience. Whether it be a year in industry, freelancing, internships!
The teams current stack includes PHP, Symfony 3, Zend, as well as Java and Node. This is a heavily backend focused position where you will code with principles such as KISS and SOLID in mind at all times. It is a great place to grow as a Junior Developer.
Working here will provide the chance for a Junior Developer to excel in their arena, becoming the best developer you can be!
