Graduate Developer/Programmer x3

Posted 6 April by Chris Cobbold Limited Easy Apply Ended

Graduate Developer/Programmer x3 - Python/Object Oriented Programming, HTML, JavaScript.

£23-27k + fantastic benefits + funding for training / certifications + excellent opportunities for career progression!

Graduate Developer/Programmer x3 with a 2:1/1:1 degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (Mathematical-related subjects considered albeit a genuine interest in a programming career is essential) required by fantastic organisation based between Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket to join their 50+ strong IT team as a result of continued growth.

The successful candidate can look forward to working in a challenging & varied role that will draw on your experience gained across a range of academic software development projects (you will be expected to talk through one or two of these in the interview). A strong grasp of the principles of object oriented programming is essential together with some exposure (academic fine) to Python, JavaScript & HTML; any further awareness of SQL (database querying) or Agile/Scrum methodologies would also be useful but is by no means a pre-requisite. Other qualities that would add value to your application include an analytical mind, solid mathematical & problem solving skills as well as an ability to work independently & innovatively (pushing boundaries, thinking outside of the box). In return for your skills & commitment, you can look forward to receiving a highly competitive basic salary, an excellent benefits package (including funding for relevant certifications) & unrivalled opportunities for personal development & career progression.
