Our client secondary school in the South Manchester area is looking for a strong, confident graduate to join them in January to work as a cover supervisor on a long term, full time basis. This school are looking for a graduate who can exercise good behaviour management skills within the classroom and ensure students stay on task.
The successful cover supervisor should therefore be motivated and flexible to work across departments and have a real passion for working with young adults at secondary school age.

The role of a cover supervisor is to deliver already set work to students within a classroom setting. The successful cover supervisor won't be expected to plan and mark within this role but will work across departments as the school require. There is also the possible opportunity to tutor students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, further gaining invaluable experience of educating students within the school environment.
The school is located in the Wythenshawe area of South Manchester, close to the airport so very easily accessible via the M56/M60 ring road. For those on public transport, again the school is easily accessible via the tram link which runs from Manchester city centre into Altrincham/Sale as the school is close to these areas. The school is also accessible from Stockport and Didsbury/Withington as local buses run regularly.
