Start a successful career with a leading electrical and lighting products manufacturer and distribution business belonging to a global group of companies and employing over 1,500 people across the UK. With a year on year growth and a current group UK turnover of over £500 million, they are an established business with a fantastic reputation. They are a key supplier to the UK Electrical Wholesale market, an enormous market that is ever changing and evolving.

Due to their ambitious plans for expansion, they are now looking for a commercially-minded graduate with a passion for business and building client relationships, to join them as a Graduate Area Sales Manager and manage relationships with key clients across the North. You will ideally live in Scotland, the North East or North West of England, Yorkshire etc.

You will be given the tools to be successful and the freedom to make an impact and progress. You will gain a valuable insight into various areas of the business, receive products and skills training, receive industry sales training, one-on-one mentoring with a senior manager and a strong relationship with the National Sales Manager.

Following your brief introductory training period at the company's Head Office and Distribution Centre in Luton, you will become the Area Sales Manager of the business' North territory, building strong relationships with new and existing accounts. The business has a strong reputation and its products are specified and installed in several prestigious projects and developments nationwide, including shopping centres, large retail outlets and public spaces.

As for your future progression, all of this should prepare you for senior managerial positions as the company is well-known for its development of graduate talent.
