Graduate Academic Mentor - Person specification
This school have high standards and are looking for only the best Mentors to support their students. You will have a degree, 2:1 or above in a core subject with a strong academic background to match. You will be a resilient, patient individual who is able to meet the needs of all pupils with your excellent subject knowledge. Previous tutoring experience would be ideal, however this is not essential.
This Academic Mentor position involves working in the warm and friendly department where your subject specialism lies. Fresh ideas and knowledge will be essential to assisting teachers with planning and preparation. Your responsibilities will be to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in group sessions helping to improve confidence and attainment in a range of pupils who are of varying abilities.
