Graduate Academic Mentor/Learning Support Assistant

Graduate Academic Mentor/Learning Support Assistant

This Graduate Academic Mentor/Learning Support Assistant position involves working across the entire school and you will be developing diverse experience in a range of classes that matches your degree subject. You will be acting as a group leader or a 1:1 mentor as you lead targeted intervention sessions to help raise attainment. You will be supported throughout your role by an experienced School Mentor who will ensure you're given all the training and development needed to allow you to effectively support the students of the school.

If you show all the right skills throughout this role you will be offered the opportunity to join the in-house Teacher training scheme that the school runs.

The School

The school has recently been graded a "good" school by Ofsted in December 2016 and the main reason they didn't achieve outstanding was due to attainment levels. The school offers a fantastic CPD and has a strong leadership team for initial support. The Head Teacher is active in all aspects of the school and has been at the school for 10 years. The school shares a special relationship with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and is highly regarded in the community.
