Governance Lead

Band: Band 7 or 8A depending on skill and experience

Pay Rate:

Band 7: £16.00 to £21.00 per hour paye or £18.50 to £24.39 per hour umbrella depending on skill and experience (daily = £120 to £157.50 paye per day or £138 to £182 umb/ltd per day)

Band 8a: £20.00 to £24.00 per hour paye or £23 to £28.00 per hour umbrella depending on skill and experience (daily = £150 to £180 paye per day or £172.50 to £210 umb/ltd per day)

Job role and criteria

Our client requires a person with governance experience to undertake fundamental governance roles such as Datix review and management, trend analysis of themes, investigations, serious incidents, investigations, RCA, management of the risk register, preparation of reports and ensuring that lessons are shared and learnt to improve practice. We must have a person with experience in governance as above and ideally a clinical background

Your World is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Information Governance lead to join our client’s team to undertake fundamental governance roles including the following:

  • Datix review and management
  • Trend analysis of themes
  • Investigations
  • Serious incidents
  • RCA
  • Management of the risk register
  • Preparation of reports and ensuring that lessons are shared and learnt to improve practice.

The client has specified that the successful candidate must have a person with experience in governance as above and ideally with a clinical background. You will have experience of working within the area of Information Governance or data protection and be keen to develop your career in this field and within the NHS. You will have a proven track record of developing and leading initiatives demonstrating your self-improvement.

The successful candidate will be working in a challenging environment, you will be faced with a variety of competing priorities that will require a flexible and imaginative approach, combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will be dynamic and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and alongside project management support.
