Purpose of Role
As Part of the Global Software Centre of Excellence the Software Product Manager is charged with driving the development and implimentation of Dematic's Software product strategy managing the stages of the product development lifecycle; acting as the owner for Dematics logistics software (WMS and WCS)
Develop and drive the software product roadmap in to a set of clear actionable requirements
Train further local and remote engineering teams to deliver emulation using the developed component library and tools
Guide the global software development teams to create and bring industry leading products to market
Ensure success of the product offering post launch
Maintains a presence and relationship with internal and external customers
Pro-actively seek software innovation and industry best practice
Produce and analyse data driven metrics and KPI's to ensure success of products
To be successful in this highly business critical and challenging NEW position within Dematic you will:
Have previous product experience within software development - ideally WMS / WCS for logistics
Experience within short and long term technology planning and product launches
Have substantial experience driving and managing change across a global organisation
Will be willing to travel (10-20% of the time)
• The post holder will be required to work outside the core business hours. Some weekend work may be required.
• To support the geographical spread of our sites and regional offices there will be unique traveling opportunities around the world.
