For the role of Global Programme Manager you will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of the international JCB Business Units for the JCB LLP account reporting to the Account Director.
The role is will implement the cost down initiatives, within a gain share Programme for a global manufacturer of construction equipment. The role will develop a number of logistics services, each with validated business cases that lead to specific DHL operations or savings projects. Working closely with the client and DHL planning & project teams this is a key position within the LLP to develop value added services for the client. Specifically responsible for review of KPI's in terms of logistics spend against cost down initiatives and service enhancement initiatives.
Due to the healthy growth agenda LLP have planned for 2018, this position will present the successful candidate the opportunity to not only travel and network through the UK but also on a Global scale.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
To act as programme leader, planning & co-ordinating agreed programme activities & organising team members to ensure delivery of planned results
To identify and implement supply chain improvement and cost down initiatives
Manage the gain share mechanism and demonstrate monetary value to client
To act as project manager for certain, agreed new projects
To design and develop programme structure and content, utilising subject matter experts from both within AIL team Global Product and cross-sector as appropriate
To effectively manage customer relationships
Establishment of effective working relationships with international DHL-division colleagues
Establishment of effective working relationships with 3rd party service providers
Review and Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to meet and exceed contractual terms and DHL expectations
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
Apply a positive, can do-right first time attitude to all aspects of the role
Expertise in implementing large scale logistics projects
Extensive Project Management / Programme management experience across various countries
The ability to manage complex, multi-projects
High standards of communication (verbal, written, presentation)
Implementation delivery & change management experience
Extensive experience in logistics, with involvement in implementation management programmes and successful project implementation
DePict or Prince 2 training qualification (preferred)
