Location: Berkshire/Thames Valley

We are currently collaborating with a highly-regarded, global healthcare company who are seeking a Medical Lead to head up the Pain franchise. This is a prominent role within the organisation which includes being responsible for high-profile products and directly manage a team of up to 5 people. The role will afford the successful candidate significant strategic input to the Pain franchise at an exciting time for the business.
Life sciences degree (PharmD, PhD or similar preferred)
Significant experience within Medical Affairs
Industry experience in Pain (or related) therapeutic area
Previous line management experience is essential
Cross-functional or collaborative work ethic is highly desired
Ideally possesses global experience but this is not essential
Key Responsibilities include:
Functioning as project lead, working with teams & providing strategic advice as they collaborate to ensure practicality and success of product development enterprises
Supporting the franchise, product and projects in terms of strategy, people leadership and delivery
Developing and executing the medical and evidence strategies for the therapy area on a global basis
Proactively liaise with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals to strengthen the relationship with them and build upon the companys network of advocates in this therapy area
