We are looking for a Logistics Manager based around the Bracknell area.
Build and maintain an optimal operating platform to support current and future Global forwarding business including resourcing, cost reduction and 100% compliance with all legislation and best practice.
Drive business improvement & growth across the Global operation setting appropriate KPIs/targets
Min 3-5 years’ experience in international freight forwarding. Whilst the emphasis is currently air export, ideal candidate will have import/export shipping, multimodal experience with strong knowledge of country specific legislation/regulations and global trade, finance and economics etc.
Man management skills - ability to grow and develop a strong team
Strong commercial skills
Self-starter/multi-tasker, with adaptable 'handson’ approach
Proven project management ability including excellent organisational/administrative, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
Excellent spoken and written communication skills gained within a customer interfacing role
Computer skills - proficient in all Microsoft office applications, Transport/logistics software application (e.g. Boxtop)
Accuracy and attention to detail particularly when working under pressure
