Global Head of Pricing

Global Head of Pricing - London: 65-70K + outstanding benefits

For a global, commercial organisation with headquarters in London, we're recruiting a Head of Pricing to work with regional and global colleagues to develop and implement pricing Strategy to standardise pricing best practice and increase surplus. Liaising with finance, marketing and sales divisions, the Global Head of Pricing will manage a small team of Pricing Analysts and will contributing to new strategy and development of expertise globally via a new pricing business model.

Main Duties:

  • Lead development of global pricing strategy including implementation
  • Advise Directors on commercial and strategic issues regarding pricing
  • Develop reporting on product income and profitability performance due to price changes or product value
  • Produce insightful pricing and competitive trend analysis for business heads
  • Develop tools to identify pricing opportunities and benefits
  • Train and deliver workshops with regional and global staff on pricing strategy and act as pricing subject matter expert
  • Develop tools to understand competitive products and match them with existing products to produce competitive analysis and recommendations
  • Liaise closely with staff across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Development, Regional and Global Operations on pricing strategy, competitor analysis and profitability
  • Lead the pricing agenda across all directorates globally and regionally
  • Lead, coach and mentor a small team of Pricing Analysts

Person Specification:

  • Substantial pricing experience including experience of leading a pricing function
  • Proven experience leading development and implementation of a global pricing strategy
  • Exceptional influencing and persuasion skills with a sound ability to network and build relationships
  • Experience of working in an international and multi-cultural global organisation
  • Experience of pricing for bids and new business cases/ RFP's RFI's etc.
  • Qualified Accountant with first-rate commercial awareness and experience of working in a lead commercial role
  • Substantial experience with the delivery of price planning and price analysis
  • Experience with the provision of strategic insight
  • Experience of working successfully in a fluid, rapidly changing environment
  • Proven business partnering skills
  • Experience with implementing change programs
