Global employee communications manager-financial services




Our client a highly reputable and well known major global financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Internal Communications professional to join the group employee communications function. You will need experience working in employee communications in a large, corporate environment as well as business partnering experience

This is a global Internal Communications role, which sits within the group employee communications function. You will work across all the businesses in the group on a global basis but will also play a key role acting as the main business partner for one particular business, working with the CEO and ExCo of the global business

You will:

  • Initiate, develop and own the end-to-end delivery of communication projects
  • Develop and deliver leadership/engagement communications for senior leadership
  • Assist in the tracking and coordination of communication activities
  • Measure the effectiveness of communications and recommend improvements * Build strong relationships with key stakeholders; define their communication requirements and provide them with advice and counsel * Develop a deep understanding of strategic goals, performance and audiences, and use that to develop communications solutions creatively and effectively and to support development of broader employee communications plans

Experience required

  • Internal communications experience gained within a large, complex corporate or financial services environment is essential
  • Experience acting in a business partner capacity (in a communications role)-advising senior stakeholders in either a specific business area or functional area
  • Experience developing strategic comms plans and acting as counsel to senior stakeholders advising on comms strategies
  • Experience of developing and implementing an internal comms strategy across a range of channels (incl intranet, townhalls, videos etc)
  • Experience in a global comms role would be an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong writing skills
