Our client a well known freight forwarder and logistics provider is currently seeking a new candidate to join their team.

Purpose of the role: To work within the Global Bid Team, completing the Bid/Tender responses to the customers. To ensure that all Bids/Tenders are successfully responded to, on time, comprehensively, accurately and in full.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support SME’s on creating bespoke response both Commercially and Technically to submit to customer

  • Responsible for preparation of Tender Submissions (technical and commercial), meeting the specific deadlines, with a support of Global Bid Team

  • To be able to write the technical responses and describe Project Management Processes and overall execution either through direct experience or through support from SMEs.

  • Be able to read and digest an RFW document from a customer and formulate what is needed to submit a compliant response and manage the team of contributors to ensure completion on time

  • Ability to explore alternative responses and solutions and think outside of the main question from the customer

  • To be able to find solutions under the pressure of short deadlines

  • Senior logistics professional who can work under own initiative and would only require guidance in most complex situations

  • Take Direction from Commercial Head to ensure high quality submissions
